What is Muay Thai?

Muay Thai, sometimes referred to as “Thai boxing”, is the national sport of Thailand. It's a martial art and combat sport that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This discipline is known as the “art of eight limbs” as it is characterised by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees and shins.

While there's a wide variety of techniques in Muay Thai, it's a martial art that's easy to learn. The conditioning of mind, body and spirit involved in Muay Thai gives practitioners the confidence needed for real-life defence encounters. Muay Thai Class Information

In most classes you can expect to be walked through combos and punch/kick Thai pads. A standard class incorporates conditioning and demonstration and application of stance and proper technique.
